Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA)

Test Description: 

This test measures the types of bacteria present measuring both beneficial and possibly harmful and disease producing microbes. It also checks for candida and if present they are cultured to see if they grow and which agents will be most effective in eliminating them.

In addition CDSA also measures digestive function by determining how well a person can digest proteins, fats and carbohydrates, the level of pancreatic enzymes produced, and the amount of short chain fatty acids and butyric acid in the colon all important for digestion and absorption.

 

Indicated for patients with IBS, IBD, indigestion, malabsorption, dysbiosis and many systemic disorders.
